Happy New Years!! Is it just me or is anyone else still in shock at how another year has already passed by? There are so many things that I have been blessed with and people I have met this year. 2014 has tremendously been a year where I had a lot of doubts and insecurities, which led to confirmation in my friendships and family, my faith, and even in who I am as a person.
I end the year with my favorite chocolate cake with the recipe by the one and only Ina Garten. While I typically pair the cake with the chocolate buttercream recipe she provides on the site, I wanted to pipe white roses onto it for New Years. After all was piped and done, it was a beautiful cake to end the year and to welcome the new.
